On Thursday 25th November, exactly on time, Margaret appeared at Lockes Road roundabout looking ready for a long walk around the nearby houses. She was with Maurice and was joined by Maggy and Dudley so the 4 of waited until exactly 10:30 and set off down a well paved path through a housing estate, across a children's playground, round a field or two, down a lane by Lakeside B & B, beside a small stream which backed on to Botley Grange and finally returned to our starting place. The trip lasted about 30 minutes, was always dry underfoot and we met only one other person, a dog walker.
Clearly this is something to do on another day, the route can be varied but at no time did it present obstacles such as hills, bumps , stiles and other hazards for the less fit.
